A rare and very unusual Royal Navy RN1008D wristwatch, and certainly not a model we come across very often.

This is a particularly handsome example featuring a deep navy-blue dial with gold-tone applied hour markers and a prominent Naval Crown emblem at 6 o’clock. The substantial gold-tone case has an unusual multi-ridged bezel which gives the watch a distinctive, quality appearance.

The case back is clearly marked RN1008D and carries the Royal Navy name and emblem. It also confirms that the Royal Navy name and logo are used under licence from the MOD, making this a particularly interesting watch for a Royal Navy, military or naval memorabilia collector.
