Vintage Seiko Quartz – Made in Japan – August 1979

A genuine vintage Seiko quartz dress watch dating from August 1979, featuring the classic rounded TV/tonneau-shaped case that became synonymous with late-1970s styling.

Powered by the Seiko calibre 7812 quartz movement, this is a proper early-generation Japanese quartz Seiko rather than a modern reproduction. The 7812 calibre was used across a family of Seiko references including the 7812-5009.

The watch has an attractive gold-tone sunburst dial, slim applied baton hour markers, matching hands and a practical date window at 3 o’clock.

Happy to replace bracelet to leather strap in a choice of Black or Brown.
