A lovely vintage Citizen ladies’ quartz watch, reference 5920-S53540, with a particularly attractive jewellery-style gold-tone bracelet.

The champagne/gold dial has a beautifully simple classic design with applied baton hour markers, slim hands and understated Citizen branding. What really makes this watch stand out is the unusual sculpted bracelet, formed from decorative overlapping leaf/petal-shaped links. It gives the watch much more of a jewellery feel than a conventional ladies’ bracelet watch.

The dial is marked Japan Mov’t 5920-N48318-KA, while the caseback confirms Citizen Watch Co., calibre 5920 and case reference S53540.
