A fantastic and genuinely unusual vintage Seiko 5 Actus Automatic, reference 7019-6180, featuring a striking deep blue sunburst dial with Arabic numeral hour markers.

The Seiko 5 Actus range was produced primarily for the Japanese domestic market and this example is marked Made in Japan. It is powered by Seiko’s dependable 7019 automatic 21-jewel movement and features the classic day/date display at 3 o’clock.

The caseback carries serial number 571095. Using Seiko’s serial-number dating system and the production period of the 7019 movement, this dates the watch to July 1975.

The watch is in good pre-loved vintage condition for a watch now over 50 years old. There are age-related marks and scratches to the case, bracelet and crystal, all clearly shown in the photographs and consistent with normal vintage use.
