A lovely vintage Accurist gents automatic watch, featuring a classic silver sunburst dial with gold-tone detailing and a traditional gold-tone case.

The dial is signed Accurist – Automatic 21 Jewels – Swiss Made, with applied gold-tone baton hour markers, centre seconds and a framed date window at 3 o’clock.

This style of Accurist automatic is consistent with examples from the 1960s to early 1970s. Similar 21-jewel Swiss Accurist automatics from the 1960s are documented with gold-plated cases and stainless steel backs.

Presented in pre-loved very good condition for its age. There are scratches, marks, ageing and wear to the gold-tone finish, together with some age-related marks to the dial/crystal. Please see the photographs for the exact condition.

Estimated manufacture period: circa late 1960s–early 1970s. I can't reliably narrow this particular example to an exact month and year because there is no visible serial/reference on the exterior case back that provides a dependable production date.
