Accurist Greenwich Old Royal Observatory Multi-Function Stainless Steel Watch 40mm- £85.00

Now this is a super-cool and very unusual Accurist. The case back identifies it as an Official Timekeepers – Old Royal Observatory, Greenwich model, tying it to one of the most interesting periods in Accurist's history.

Accurist had a genuine partnership with Greenwich: it sponsored the Greenwich time clock from 1993 and in 1997 installed the satellite-controlled Millennium Countdown Clock at the Royal Observatory. Contemporary reporting also confirms Accurist produced Greenwich-associated watches during this period.

The watch has a substantial stainless-steel case and integrated bracelet with a highly detailed silver multi-function dial. Roman numerals surround the dial, with three subsidiary displays, contrasting black hands, yellow indicator details and a curved 1–31 date scale above the Accurist London signature.

The case back is particularly nice, carrying the large Royal Observatory Greenwich emblem, together with “Accurist Official Timekeepers – Old Royal Observatory” engraving.
